How Do I Rinse My Son's Hair Properly?
|
Washing my son's hair makes me so nervous. I'm not quite sure how to rinse his hair, so I've been wetting in with a wet cloth, then after I lather the shampoo, I soak a wash cloth in a wash cloth in clear water and rub his hair, over and over. The process takes forever and he likes it even less than I do. Is there a better way to rinse my son's hair?

Saturday 20th of February 2010 12:25:45 AM how old is your baby? if he is just days older, then you have to be very very careful in giving him a bath. the best way is to let your baby lie down on a rubber sheet with a soft cloth over it to prevent wetting your bed or couch or carpet if you prefer to let your baby lie down on the floor. then get a small tub with clear water. put it beside your baby. then you hold your baby's head and lift it slowly. after that you scoop water from the tub with your other hand then pat your baby's head slowly with the water in your hand. just make it quick so as not to let your baby catch colds.
however if your baby is already a month older you can just put him inside the tub with ample amount of water. be sure you are holding is head in an upright position in order not to let him drown. then scoop water from the tub and pat his head with the water in your hands. Presto! you're done!
