When Will I Start To Feel Like A Mom?

I have been around babies my whole life. I'm the oldest of 5 children and when I wasn't helping out with my siblings, I was babysitting for spending money. Now I'm home with a one week old baby and I feel like I'm still babysitting. My mom has been staying with us since I've been home and has been helping out a lot. I don't feel like I'm totally responsible for my daughter yet. Will I start to feel more like a mom once my own mother leaves?

I think it is on how you depict your motherhood. But usually you can feel that you are a mom once you start conceiving. This is the normal feeling of a woman. You are going to take care of yourself if you have known that you are pregnant.
