Since I Had My Baby, I Cramp During Sex.

I had my daughter 7 weeks ago. My husband and I waited until I was cleared by my doctor at my 6 week appointment, and since then, we've had sex 3 times. Every time we have sex, I have terrible cramping. Is it normal to have postpartum cramping during sex and how long will it last?

Having a baby is a very taxing experience on a woman's body, hense the reasoning of waiting 6 weeks for sex. Even though you have been cleared for sex by your doctor, your body is still healing. Try different positions that prevent the tip of his penis from hitting your still sensitive cervix on penetration. Also, avoid rough sex and keep things slow and steady until you readjust to intercourse! Relax and enjoy yourselves!
