My Doctor Recommended White Noise For Colic.

My doctor says that my 7 week old has colic. He said that in addition to changing her formula, I could use white noise to sooth her when she's fussy. I tried running the vacuum and that seems to help, but the sound is driving me mad. What other forms of white noise can I use to soothe my colicky baby?
