If I Put Formula In My Emergency Kit, What Kind Should I Use?
I keep an emergency kit in my car and in my basement. I want to add formula for my baby to the kit, but don't know which to choose. Powdered lasts longer, but isn't as convenient as ready to drink. What kind of formula should I pack in my emergency kit and how often should I change it?

Powdered formula does last longer and you don't have to change it out as frequently. If you place a small UNOPENED can and a few bottles of water to mix, you should be ok. You can also get a can of pre-mixed formula and check the expiration date. This may get costly if you are having to change expired liquid formula out of your emergency kit regularly.
