What Can I Do To Protect My Baby From Sids?
I've heard the "back to sleep" slogan, but other than that I haven't heard any other precautions I can take to prevent a tragedy. What can I do to protect my baby from SIDS?

Make sure your child is placed to sleep on his back. Also, make sure the crib is free of clutter. No toys, blankets, pillows, etc. Also, keep the house a smoke free environment. If you are concerned about SIDS, you can purchase a sensor that goes under your child's mattress that will alert you if your child stops moving for an extended period of time.
