What Happens If Your Executor Dies Before You?

My older brother is an attorney which makes him the most reasonable choice for executor or my estate. Right now we're in our 30's so I'm not too concerned about either of us passing on. What happens in the future if my brother passes away before I do and I forget to name an new executor?
