Is It Rude To Ask Parents In The Waiting Room Questions?

I'm trying to find a pediatrician for my baby. I interviewed two doctors, but I feel like I'm not getting a real feel for how the office works. Is it rude to ask questions of the other parents that are waiting in the waiting room?
