My Ten Month Old Is Saying Words.
|
My 10 month old is starting to say a lot of words. He was always a babbler. At 3 months he would just string along a bunch syllables and babble away. Now he is saying things like "cracker", "ba-ba", "bad", and "cup". My other 2 children weren't talking so much at his age. Is it normal for a 10 month old to building such a vocabulary already?

Sunday 14th of February 2010 05:37:31 AM Yeah it is nothing abnormal about it. Kids have different milestones. It is not necessary that kids adhere to a particular set of milestones. If your kid has started saying small words, it is advisable you help in developing the vocabulary and stress more on the clarity of words now.

Encourage him to talk and never ever compare your children's developmental progress. Each child is its own individual self. Comparison can bring on unneeded competition.
