Sunday 14th of February 2010 08:02:14 AM Depending on your normal dress size you should be able to keep wearing 'normal' clothes for the first 3-4 months, just get a size bigger.
Once the belly really starts to grow I found H&M maternity line fantastic and very afforable I also was able to borrow quite some clothes from friends which was very helpful.
I bought a pair of maternity jeans, a pair of black smart trousers, a few shirts and blouses and a nice dress ( as I was 8 months at Xmas period). The shirts were great also after giving birth as they were ideally designed for breastfeeding. And another tip buy some comfortable underwear especially some good bras as you will need them!

Sunday 14th of February 2010 06:19:21 AM I had tried some garments from Mothercare. They were good but yes very expensive. The expense part pinches because these garments become useless post delivery. If you have a good tailor you can get some stuff stiched which would be more economical and can be altered later to suit your needs

Sunday 14th of February 2010 08:27:39 AM Search online for maternity outfits and you will find a whole lot of reasonably priced ones which look very smart. You could even order them online. The online search will give you a far wider choice and you will be able to copare the prices and the designs before choosing what you want. If the brand has an outlet in your location go visit it and try on the lcothes for yourself.

Tuesday 16th of February 2010 10:49:08 AM Yes Motherhood is good quality in reasonable prices you can choose a great array of pregnancy clothes in almost all kinds of occasions. I also tried shopping in Due Maternity which is a little higher in price than Motherhood. For casual wear I recommend Motherhood but for special occasions the fabrics sold in Due Maternity is better. Anyways, you don't have to buy too many clothes because it's only 9 months of waiting time. After that, you'll be back to your original body more or less. Congrats to your new baby. Cheers!

Monday 1st of March 2010 04:19:41 AM My husband once said to me that any pregnant woman are smart woman. You see, most men don't look at the dress a pregnant woman wears because in their eyes you are already smart to have that baby in your womb. So it doesn't matter actually what brand so long as it is comfortable and you feel good about it. And that makes you smart.
