My Baby Has Bacterial Meningitis.

When my baby was 3 days old he started to refuse to eat. He wanted to sleep all of the time and then I noticed his soft spot was puffing out. I took him the ER and they said that he has meningitis. They did a lumbar puncture and confirmed it was bacterial. He is being kept in the hospital and is receiving antibiotics. This is so scary. Is there something that I did wrong that caused my baby to be so sick?
