Both Grandmas Want To Stay With Us When The Baby Comes.
My baby is due in 3 weeks. Both of our moms want to stay with us for the first few days after we come home to help us out. Our house isn't that big and I think it will be too stressful to have the both there. Should I turn them both down so I don't have to choose one?

They can both come but at separate times. Have your own mom come out first, because you are closer to her, and when she us gone have your mother-in-law come out. You will then have the necessary help for a longer period of time. Be sure to have fast rules as to taking care of the baby because you do not want the baby confused by different time schedules. The feeding and changing and personal things should be done by you to enhance bonding. You want the bonding to be between you and the baby and not the moms.

NO you can suggest them that pleas come one by one so that they can help you out and you can get help for little longer time otherwise your home is too small and all cant be adjusted at the same time .You are my parents and know better than me that if all will come together then no can help me out in better way . Try to convince them

Maybe you can try to accomodate them both, anyway the more the merrier. As such they can help also with you in doing some household chores right? Or you can let them share some expenses. I suggest you just go with the flow and enjoy the moment with your baby.
