|
I am trying to prepare a list of phone numbers for emergencies. I have the numbers of close family members, the police and firehouse. What other phone numbers should I have handy in case of an emergency?

Thursday 18th of March 2010 07:15:49 PM One or two close family members, fire, police, ambulance service, doctor, pharmacy, are all the numbers that should be on the list and prominently attached in the refrigerator with a magnet. I mentioned the ambulance service because 911 generally takes you to the nearest hospital which may not be the one your doctor is i and the person there for emergency treatment will then have to be transferred to the hospital of your choice. This can be time consuming in an emergency.
