Hello there, for my own experience i NEVER swaddle my daughter when she were baby, first coz i believe that is annoy coz it does not leave the baby move and for me it gave the impression as I was gonna hurt or upset her doing that and i can tell you that she is almost 7 years old and I never had a problem with her, so I dont think that swaddle baby is a real need, but who usualy do use this method to wrap the baby says that till 4 months old you can do that, but you are the one who will decide if your baby needs to keep been swaddling or not. good Lucky.

You should stop swaddling once your baby kick the blanket off so you dont have risk to cover his head. You should also stop swaddling when your baby become very active so will have chance to develop his motor skills, which swaddling can interfere with. You can stop swaddling in night when your baby can sleep in night without it.
