Answers & Questions / Topics / recover from a c-section

I Have A Clear Liquid Leaking From My C-section Incision.
I had a c-section 8 days ago. I'm starting to feel much better and am getting around fine. I don't have any pain and haven't needed any pain meds for a few days. About 10 minutes ago, I started having a clear fluid leaking from a small whole in my incision site. What is this fluid and should I go to the ER?

hello there and the fluid is the fluid that need probably to get out of your body, some women experience that, but you should go to ER for sure, coz sometimes the fluid is a indication that it must be a infection coming and as soon as you get the right way to treat and deal with it you have better chances to dont progress to a infection. Good Lucky.

It looks like your stitches are pulled because of strain which you are giving on your stomach more so just dont worry go to the doctor or midwife and show it them . You have to clean up the stitches daily twice or thrice with peroxide so that no itching will be there.

I've also had a c section then. I did had pain in my abdomen and the incision itself, but never any fluid discharge or anything like that. I suggest you check with you doctor or the nearest hospital's ER to have it checked. Better safe than sorry. Take care.
