C-section Pain After Going Home.
|
I've been home for 6 hours and am in excruciating pain. My stomach hurts so bad around my incision. I've taken the percoset the I was sent home with but it isn't helping. Should I go back to the hospital?

Friday 6th of August 2010 07:02:02 AM I've also delivered my baby through c section. And I've experienced the same pain that you are experiencing at present. Aside for the abdominal support I also take mefenamic acid for the pain. As advised by my OB. This is not a medical advise - just based on my experience.

Wednesday 24th of March 2010 07:48:40 AM hello there and sorry to hear that you are in so much pain, but there is a recent surgery that you have experienced, the c-section is like any surgery, its invasive and sure you body will recent in the first days. The pain in the first days are really bad, but what should you look after before go back to hospital is, do is a pain that you can handle??? does the pain get better after the medication, is your incision bruised or with indications of infection??? if you have noticed more than just pain you should contact your doctor or even go back to the hospital. Good Lucky.
