Can I Put My Son's Crib By A Window?
My nursery has a beautiful bow window in it. I always envisioned the crib being in front of it, but now I'm not sure if it is safe. Is it safe to put a crib by a window if the window is kept locked?

I think as every one needs ventilation, the baby also needs ventilation, so if you put it by the window when the window is looked do you think ventilation come in? i will only say,it will only be good if the room has an air condition in it. you can also ask the midwifes for more information

Hello there and there are no safety garantees about put the cribs near to the windows, even if the window is locked there are another risks as the curtains or blinds that you installed at the window, the kids can fall out of windows if one day you leave it accidemntally open, second they can reach the curtains or the blinds cords and suffer inkuries or even be strangulated if they have a way to reach, so is better you get the crib far away enough of the window to dont take the risk of your baby get hurt. Cheers.

Its better to put the baby far from the window side as windows blind can make the baby entangled . Other things is always put the crib far from draperies and from the wall hangings .Put your bay sleep on his back . Remove cribs toys and pillows after you put your baby down.
