Are Crib Bumpers Safe To Use?

I got a really cute bedding set at my baby shower. I remember reading that you shouldn't use bumpers because it is a safety risk. There was an adorable bumper included in the set. Are they safe to use, and if not why are they so standard in bedding sets?

I don't think it should be advisable to use because it can make the child's arms and legs sticking through the crib sides, and can also let the baby to hit his or her head on the crib sides and cause injury. but one may ask why are they so standard in bedding sets?
Some say because the matched crib bedding sets in stores are often cute and the package deal makes for a nice coordinated nursery.

They are not safe coz they out your baby in a risk of suffocation and strangulation death, they are still been selling for some simple facts like they still getting coordinate to match as the old style of nursery, and they still been selling as long as there still many parents seeking for what looks more cute and not about how pratical it is for ure, some parents get to use them and seek to buy this crib bumpers looking for the safety like they worry the kid will hit theior head so hard to suffer some injuries what is impossible to happen as long the babies are not able and strong enough to hit their heads and suffer injuries, second some parents think the baby will get their arms and legs stucked in the cribs as well and suffer some serious hurt but the doctors says that is another think not common to happen as long as the baby when they get stuck or they get to feel a bit of pain they make noise enough to get attention. hope you will choose what is safety to your baby... cheers.

Normally bumbers are used for the baby to avoid the injuries due to the hard stamps or to protect there legs stucking form the stamps but now the experts are saying that there are now cases are increasing of death of infant due to these bumpers as older babies try to climb up from the rigid bumbers and fall down .they are so standard to get adjusted properly in bed.
