Pregnant On My 21st Birthday.

I will be 17 weeks pregnant on my 21st birthday. I'm the youngest of 4 children. My family has always gone to Vegas for the big 2-1. It's always a great time. I was looking forward to my turn, but my parents say that it wouldn't be appropriate. I don't want to drink, I just want to visit some casinos and catch a show. Surely I wouldn't be the first pregnant woman to go to Vegas. How can I convince them that it will be okay to turn 21 in Las Vegas?

As long you are a major person I am sure they don't need to tell you what to do.
but being your parents you need to listen them and also you need fo them to be around you.
try to talk to them openly and sincere about what you want to do.

Try talking calmly to them, explain that you want to celebrate in the family tradition & enjoy your freedom before the baby comes. Compromise - dinner, a show, one casino and an earlyish night? Reassure them that your baby's health comes first and if you're tired, you'll go to bed early.

I believe your parents are only concerned about you and your baby's health. You know Vegas is surely is very entertaining if you can handle yourself properly and if you're not sensitive to second hand smoke. But since you're carrying already, you can try telling them that you'll just come along in places that won't cause you any harm. If they still can't be convinced, just try to understand why they don't want you to come.

There is any problem to travel and enjoy of a fabulous weekend. The only thing you have to do is not to stay standing for to many hours, because could be bad for your legs. The best you can do is to talk with a doctor, with your parents. I´m sure he will say there is no risk, and they will accept.

hello there dear, may your parents are looking after what is more healthy to you now, the 17 weeks is a bit after you have completed you first trimester, vegas is a night city so they must not be concern of if you drink... what they may already know that you have no intention of it, but may they don't think a night life now will be cool, I meant all pregnant women would catch the right amounth of sleep now , but you may show them a routine plan as you will not do anything that must be not great for you now, hope will all work great there, Cheers.
