My Husband Feels Stupid Talking To My Baby Bump.

I'm over the moon about being pregnant. My husband is happy but he's very reserved. I would really like if he would talk to the baby through my tummy. I read that it is good for bonding. He says that he feels stupid and awkward. It kind of hurts my feelings. Is there anything I can do to make it less awkward for him?

Dear you can try do and enjoy talk with your baby alone, do that near him more often may he everything is so new that he is not used to this changes in his life, so as long as we experience things more often or when we get to be surounded by things that makes we reach some new experiences easily all runs easily as well, so may if you talk with your baby near to your husband and shows to him how great it can be, after a while may he gets to do that himself without you need to ask, that is just a try that you must give but if even after that he does not feel like, just respect him and dont get personaly as long as we can not force people do things as we wish. I don't think you should expect him to do anything that he feels is awkward. Don't let it hurt your feelings. Pregnancy for a man is different to pregnancy for a woman. He cannot feel the baby, and can't quite comprehend the enormity of the situation yet. Give him some time to adjust to the whole scenario. There will be plenty of time for Dad and baby bonding when the baby has arrived. Perhaps let him just feel the baby kicking when that time has come.

You tell them that you read in the book and seen also on internet and show it to him and if you know people who did so (like talk to their baby through tummy) then show him and tell that they also did so and it is very helpful for that father to bond between father and baby.

Give him some space and time! he will get use with the situation.All men do the same, laugh about this issue, mine did too!Anyway te baby hears his voice even if he don't adress to the baby.
After awhile he will talk to him-her.
it is true this situation hurts us, but men does not have the feelings we have, and maybe they are a little bit envy on us, that's why he treat this matter in this way.
