Had Iugr With First Pregnancy, Will This Happen Again?
|
I smoked through my first pregnancy. I had IUGR (intrauterine growth restriction) and my son was born 5 pounds 3 ounces. He gained weight quickly and was otherwise healthy. When we started trying to get pregnant again, I quit smoking. What are the chances that I will have IUGR again if I don't smoke?

Monday 17th of May 2010 02:03:32 PM Now that you are not smoking you will get the normal child.if you eat fruits, vegetables, protein foods, calcium etc.on the other hand if giving birth to abnormal human being is what you want then can go to your doctor to teach you how to avoid giving birth to abnormal human being.
herbalist too can have a solution to that.

Thursday 24th of June 2010 02:40:02 AM If a woman had a several pregnancies, each spot on her uterus where the placenta implanted will be somewhat scarred. If subsequent placenta attach to that spot, fertile surface area through which to exchange oxygen and nutrients. This could be cause after several pregnancies. If there is no conditioned as mentioned above then it will remain in first pregnancy only

Monday 22nd of March 2010 12:39:17 PM Hello there and the chances must be abit higher compared with who never had it before, the smoking habit is one of the causes of that problem may help, other factores as well and habits may make it be a risk to back to happen, like poor nutrition dite is a fator to help the IUGR happens as well, Diabetes, abuse of alcohol and drugs, and if the women suffer of high blood presure its another cause of IUGR. hope the answer had explained a bit to you, but the best person to answer and give you a right answer looking to all your medical history is your doctor.
