Fell Asleep At Work--pregnancy Fatigue.
|
I have been battling pregnancy fatigue every day for a month. I'm 9 weeks along so I have a long way to go. It doesn't seem to matter how much sleep I get or what I eat. I just keep nodding off and wanting to be lazy. Today I fell asleep at my desk at work. What causes pregnancy fatigue and will I have it throughout my pregnancy or just he first trimester?

Friday 12th of February 2010 02:54:21 PM well, it won't be the same the whole pregnancy.this are only in the beginning.
I had experienced that for 3 months.I was sleeping walking, dizziness, morning sickness, but they all dissapear after 3 months old.Maybe you are low blood pressure so you need a little coffee to wake you up.a little cup of coffee in the morning is not too harmfull to your kid.
I hope you will be better!

Friday 19th of March 2010 08:02:36 AM hello dear, and the causes of the fatigue are the hormones, and that your body is passing for a hole changing during this time, until your body feel like everything is normal, i mean until your body get really used to carry someone else inside your tummy, for your metabolism may the changes make it in the first trimester feel like your body is working too much, than it spend energy and thats why the fatigue get to reach you, but after the first trimester be over the fatigue will get improved. Cheers and happy pregnancy

Monday 17th of May 2010 01:40:51 PM To reduce the pregnancy fatigue, you don't have to be working hard, do not walk for long or seat for long. Any thing that you are doing, don't do it for long unless sleeping. Also practice eating vegetable foods and any strange thing you see in your body just try to find out what it is and how to avoid it.

Wednesday 19th of May 2010 12:33:03 AM Sometimes it is tiring for a pregnant woman to do hectic activity schedule. Once you feel tired you must rest or take a nap especially during lunch break. Sometimes there are instances that you feel so sleepy, it is because of your situation. On your next visit to you doctor, you can discuss this matter so that you will be aware.
