hi there, and the doctors usualy recomend to keep your baby home at least for the first 2 months, you can take them to someone home before this time, but be at a place with many people is not recommended before 2 months, because the baby has his imunitty system so new and is not strong enough to handle the risk of be in contact with bacterias and virus that may be in high levels at parties, and that is to prevent the baby to get fever coz is not a great signal if your baby perform fever in the first months after born,

The reason for keeping the newborn away from other people is that he is fragile and sensitive and he might catch germs or viruses from them. The other reason would be religious. In some religions the newborn is not supposed to get out in public for 40 days. After that he is baptized and he can meet his other close relatives.

it is up to you when you want to expose your baby, but the more people are around the baby, the risks are bigger. My advice is to keep the baby away from people at least 2 weeks from the moment of birth. It is more safer for him, the party can wait for a while!

Babies immunity against airborne microorganisms is not yet complete. The best time that you will have to bring him to any public gatherings is when you have started the immunization program provided by your child's pediatrician. You can take an immunization package that includes immunity against certain type of diseases which may endanger your child's health.

You can take a child at any time but do you want to? Parties at any time are not a good idea. Seeing a few friends at home is fine. A large group of people cooing over it can frighten the baby and make it cry. No one wants to take care of a crying baby so you're stuck with a scared crying baby. This can happen at any age. No parties. Let them come to see the baby if they want to, in your home, and you decide how many at one time. No colds or runny noses allowed.

As it is a party, it cannot harm the baby for just coming out for one day or may be five hours event. It is only not advisable to binging him or her out and carrying him or her at the back when the baby is just one month or less.Because some women do just start bringing their babies out and carrying them on their backs when going to market or work which is not advisable at all.
