How Soon Can My Baby Hear?
|
I've always heard that reading and playing music for your baby while you're pregnant, is good for them. How soon will he be able to hear me speak, sing, read and play music for him?

Monday 8th of February 2010 06:24:08 PM He will be able to hear your heartbeats by 18 weeks, but you singing, reading and playing music for him probably around 24 weeks. Don`t put headphones on your belly cause it might affect his hearing. You can feel when he is too startled by a big noise-ke kicks and he is very agitated. Try you and his father to talk to him as soon as you wish, get him used to your voices.

Tuesday 9th of February 2010 03:37:41 PM i am not pretty sure when he does hear all the sounds, I guess when the auditive system is up.
My advice is to sing for him all the time, from now, even you are maybe at the beginning of your pregnancy.
It is a benefic thing for your baby and even for you.

Tuesday 9th of February 2010 11:06:48 PM Babies hearing develop earlier than their vision. They can hear as early as inside your womb. Your child can hear you now, but simply cannot respond accordingly because he cannot see you. Do not be anxious about it. Just enjoy the time you spend talking or singing for her. He'll love it.

Thursday 18th of March 2010 05:26:10 AM hello there Mom, and the baby can start to hear arouind 18 weeks but the audition system will jsut be completly around 24 weeks, but your baby can start to recognize the sounds and distingui your voice already around 20 weeks of pregnancy, so that is the time that you will most be able to sing to your baby and talk with him or she, Good Lucky.

Wednesday 19th of May 2010 12:18:51 AM I believe that as long as you have known that youa are pregnant, you can start talking to your baby inside your womb. The better the earlier so that they will be used to it, and can develop well. These things I did to my son who has grown up to be bright child.

Monday 17th of May 2010 04:24:08 PM I think all this are just predictions by people. i have never seen any person saying that. so i wonder how truthful it is.
By the way i cannot completely denies it because i am not a specialized person in that field.
But i believe the old people will have much knowledge about it. so i will urge you to see your grand mother or your mother for the best answer.
