Could I Be Developing Ibs Because Of My Pregnancy?
|
Since I've been pregnant, I've started having a lot of problems with my stomach and colon. I get pains and cramps. It's not like the regular nausea and vomiting from morning sickness. Could I be developing Irritable Bowel Syndrome from my pregnancy and will it go away after I deliver?

Tuesday 22nd of June 2010 03:03:15 AM It is not necessary that you are suffering from IBS .But if you are really suffering from this then could be avoided with the help of yoga, abdominal hot packs, medicinal strength peppermint, high volatile oil fennel .It reduces the abdominal pains and cramps. I am not sure whether it will goes of by itself but yes if you regularly do some ypga then it definitely helps you.

Tuesday 9th of February 2010 03:50:00 PM when you are pregnant, you are passing through a stage to another.from stomach hurts to diareea and yet a constipation,
they all will dissapear after you will deliver. It depends alsoon the age you have, if you are younger you will be better sooner.
It can take few weeks after delivery, but after that all will be great again!

Thursday 18th of March 2010 05:11:16 AM hi there, the good side is showing up now, is pretty high the chances that you have to see the IBS pass after your pregnancy, for some women they disappear after they give birth but to others not, you shall see what is your case, but I really hope that you will end great. Cheers and have a happy pregnancy.

Monday 28th of June 2010 02:22:34 AM Being pregnant involves a lot of changes in our body. Before I got pregnant, I was really constipated. I need to take in fiber supplements just to make the call of nature easier. But when I got pregnant, every thing regarding my constipation was gone. Well in your case I don't think you need to worry too much. A lot of women develops IBS during their pregnancy. And most of the uncomfortable symptoms go away on their own after giving birth. If you're still worried about IBS, better talk to your ob and have it assessed.
