I Have Pcos, Can I Still Get Pregnant?
|
My husband and I want to start TTC. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 4 years ago. When I followed the special diet I started to have regular periods. After about 6 months I went off the diet and didn't give it much more thought. Now that we are TTC, I'm trying to get back into the diet and exercise. If I start to get my periods back, will I be able to get pregnant even though I have PCOS?

Wednesday 17th of March 2010 01:31:58 PM hello there, PCOS usualy made the TTC get to be really though but as long as yopu follow the diet and get straight on the treatment to control the PCOS, sure its is possible to get pregnant, the TTC road may will be a bit more longer to be drive until you get exactly what you are looking for but there is still existing chances of be able to conceive.

Sunday 16th of May 2010 09:16:58 AM Yes it possible that you can still get pregnant. For instance, Some women with PCOS have unhealthy had eggs because their periods are too far apart, in many circumstances this is correctable with herbs, diet or drugs. And a lot of women with PCOS also have a thyroid condition. If this is treated they will begin to ovulate. And many women too with PCOS have frequent miscarriages, but they eventually have a healthy baby-often with the help of progesterone cream or suppositories.
