Prenatal Vitamins: Are There Smaller Varieties?
I have never had a very easy time swallowing pills. In fact I can barely swallow an aspirin. I want to take my vitamins, but they are just too big. Are there any smaller varieties of prenatal vitamins that would be easier for me to take?

to be honest, I had the same situation, I wondered why they do such a huge pills? Can't they do them a little smaller?I guess not. I am not aware of some smaller pills, although I have consumed some juice, special done for kids and pregnant women. try that kind of vitamins- liquids or non-solid vitamins.

Hello. I experienced the same problem during my pregnancy. And in fact I did find out that besides its size it was also the iron concentration in it that gave me that awfull morning sickness. So the doctor chose to replace my Materna vitamins with Pregvit, which indeed are smaller and with lower iron content. But it has to be taken twice a day.

hello there dear, and yes in the market has plenty type of vitamins sizes, you just need to report to your doctor your difficults and restrictions and you can find some indications for small size pills. I hope it will help you but if somehow your doctor choose to still prescribe you the big ones you can always cut them smaller. kisses and hugs.

You can take vitamins like parasitamol, ethdrine, quick action etc. to know more about the varieties of prenatal vitamins, just consult any drug store around your house for more knowledge about it.But is not good to be taken it too much without doctors advice, if not it can harm you. If you are in a certain condition and the taken of the varieties of prenatal vitamins is not making any good impact on it, just see your doctor.

I think there are vitamins that are in smaller varieties. You can ask you ob gyne about your desire and situation. Even me I find it hard to swallow big medicines, so I aks my ob about having just the smaller one. Likewise, you can ask also in the counter in pharmacy if they have the smaller ones.
