Baby Is Kicking My Ribs.
|
I'm 33 weeks pregnant and I am having trouble with the position that my baby is in right now. I think she's head down now because there is a lot of intense pressure on my ribs. It feels like they are going to crack. Is there anything that I (or my doctor) can do to move her out of this position so that I'm not in so much pain?

Saturday 15th of May 2010 02:06:28 PM There is a way for that, but is only a doctor who can do it. so i will say is that, just leave every thing and don't listen to anybodies prediction or comments and move to your doctor and explain it to him, he can do it for you up to your satisfaction.

Tuesday 9th of February 2010 04:41:23 PM I experienced this unpleaseant feeling too.i just suffered but my guess is the doctor can't do anything.
All you can do is some exercises to strech yourself, easy exercises to make him/her move.
maybe it works!
oh, it is so nasty when you feel you ribs explode, breakes and the pain does not go away!
I wish you great pregnacy and also easy delivery!

Wednesday 10th of February 2010 08:34:40 AM The baby`s position in your belly cannot be influenced by you or your doctor. You are 33 weeks pregnant, that means you are not too far from giving birth and he is preparing to really come out. To calm his kicking try not to drink coffee, mineral water, don`t eat chocolate and rest in bed...because he feels you when you`re agitated.

Wednesday 17th of March 2010 09:33:58 AM hello there mommy, i have passed for the same when I was pregnant and there is no way to the doctor do anything for you, my daughter when i was nearly to get in the straight end line before give birth she always pushed her feet under my ribs, it hurts and it cause a breath discomfort, your doctor can not do so much, you can try touching gentle your belly make her change her feet position, but really gently, like when they move in our belly and we start to play with them with our hands, so you can do the same usualy the babies respond your stimulation, and you can always lay by your left side to help when it happens get to feel a relief of the discomfort caused by the moviment. Good lUCKY.

Wednesday 16th of June 2010 08:45:14 PM This is really painful. When I was pregnant I used to throw up a lot and feel back pains due to the baby's movements or sudden kicks. But not this - where you feel like the baby's going to crack your ribs. I suggest you trying adjusting yourself where you extend your belly outwards and try to gently massage the part where you feel the pressure. Just make some circular-light motions to the area. This might help somehow make the baby move a little to a comfortable spot.
