My Baby Won't Survive Outside The Womb.
My daughter was diagnosed with hypoplastic right heart syndrome. I'm 21 weeks and after and amnio the doctors have told me that due to his heart condition and "chromosomal defect" that he won't live very long after he is born, if he lives through the pregnancy. I was asked if I still wanted to go full-term or if I wanted to have an abortion. I don't know how to make such a horrible decision, I can barely cope with the news. Is there any possibility that my baby will live with hypoplastic right heart syndrome?

I am really sorry to hear about it, and I hope all will turn great for you, but there is still exist a way to try make your baby live, the chances are small but after the birth you can optee to treat your baby and that will takes you time and probably the doctors will use a drug support to keep the heart ductus of your baby opened till they be able to operate and even try a heart transplant, the child with HRHS usualy have some restrictions about avoid some physical activies and need a cardiologic appointment constantly in their lifes but there still a posibility to your baby don't die. Good lucky, and I wish all the best for your family.

To know weather the baby can live with hypoplastic right heart syndrome or not just kindly go back and feel free to ask the doctor because situations like this are so critical that if you don't take your time it can cause death. But me i will advice you understand the doctor and do the abortion because it is irrational to spend for nothing. Because if you give birth to the baby you will spend on him or her and she won't live long and die.

ther are very little possibility that suffering from hypoplastic right heart syndrome can survive for long as in this right ventricle could not hold the right amount of blood that is pumped from right atrium .This is usually bluish hue and cyanotic. if the time of delivery proper medication will not given then baby cant survive .
