Labor Terms: What Do They Mean?
|
I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I'm trying to get ready for labor and delivery. On the baby birth shows they use terms like crowning, effaced, plus one, thinning, etc. I'm not sure what everything means. Can you help to explain these labor terms?

Effacement-this is use by people to describe the thinning of the cervix during pregnancy. plus one means Men Medical Supplies.thinning in the cervix is an indication that the lower uterine segment is preparing for birth.
