Will Jumping Jacks Hurt The Baby?
I am 38 weeks with my first baby. I heard that doing jumping jacks would make the baby drop. This sounds like it might hurt the baby. Is it safe to do jumping jacks to make the baby drop in the pelvis?

You are at 18 weeks of your pregnancy.. It is really not safe doing some hard exercises when you are pregnant. If you don't want to lose your baby, then better not do it. Aside of hurting the baby, it will hurt yourself also. You should take extra care with that little angel inside you.

hi there and no way, If I was you i would avoid jump kacks at all, first that can work pretty bad for a baby, it can detach your placenta, it can constrict the cord, you can force the baby to change positions since you pratice it, and even problems to you it can offer as blood pressure problems, so jumping jacks are completly not recommended at all to pregnant women it does not help the baby drop and it can work completly the opposite way as people think.

No, jumping jack is not safe. However, it depends as long as you are advise by your doctor to do so. Please remember that jumping jack is somewhat strenous. Never risk the baby because of this simple thinking. Slight exercise can be undergone. You can check in the pregnancy book what will be the suitable exercise for a pregnant woman.
