How Soon Do I Have To Worry About Stretch Marks?
|
I am 7 weeks along and have noticed little puffiness in my lower abdomen. It isn't anything major, but it has got me thinking about stretch marks. How soon do I have to really start to worry about them. When should I start using cocoa butter and anti-stretch mark creams?

Wednesday 17th of March 2010 06:45:49 AM hello there, and as soon as you feel likely to start and care before of the stretch marks shows, so the best thing to do is as soon as possible you can already use the cocoa butter or find a great stretch cream, coz the stretchs has not a really exactly time to show up, some starts pretty soon to appear in another women they get to reach the end of the pregnancy and for others that time never arrives. it is all up to each women and their body reactions infront of the pregnancy changes, I should recommend to you start now the creams to avoid it, better soon than too late. Kisses and cheers.

there is no problem from starting from now.I did oil myself from the beginning. But don\\\'t exagerate with cream. It is better when you go to dr examination to have just a thin layer of cream on you

Karmen Sunday 7th of February 2010 06:46:42 AM I used cocoa butter from a day I did pregnancy test (5 weeks pregnant). I have very sensitive skin and all the women in my family have stretch marks from pregnancy so I couldn\'t take risk. I did it during the whole 8 months and thanks to that I don\'t have any changes on my skin.

Sunday 7th of February 2010 09:23:10 AM Stretch marks are normal occurrences, but you can avoid having one even your stage of pregnancy now. After bath, rub some oil, lotion or petroleum jelly onto your abdomen to relieve any sensation of itchiness or puffiness. Whenever you feel like scratching, you must not use your fingernails, rather you may use a soft cloth or your fingers minus the nails.

Sunday 11th of April 2010 05:59:54 PM You should not worry about stretch marks. These are not so major problem. You start putting petroleum jelly on your stomach. Or, after you have taken a bath, pampered your belly with lemono juice to freshen the baby. This practice is advised to me by my mother in law. Give it a try and see the result.

Friday 14th of May 2010 04:32:27 PM you can start using it now .As for me i will say stretch mark does not only appear in pregnant women only but at times it appears in young girls too.Even i occasionally see boys having stretch marks in their body so i will say it does not have formula.
To know more about it consult your midwife to educate you more about it.
