My Baby's Measurements Don't Match Dates.
I am 16 weeks 2 days pregnant. When I went in to have an ultrasound, my baby measured 15 weeks, 3 days. I read that baby's being small can mean that they have a Down Syndrome. Should I be worried that my baby's measurements don't match the dates?

No, you don`t have reasons to worry about. It often happens babies do not fit the standard measurements but you are in your early pregnancy and measurements now are not relevant. Just monitor your baby when you will be 20-25 weeks. I`m sure he/she will be a normal healthy baby. God bless you!

Oh, your pregnancy is to young to decide that.Mine was the same, then on the final stage was too big.So don\'t worry about this, at least not now. good luck!

Its not a big difference, you really dont need to be worried about any thing at this very early stage. Some times there is a difference of a week or so between the date you calculated from your LMP,and the date which ultrasound shows.so dont worry!

hello there dear mom, and its all normal and you should not concern about your baby size, does all babies born with the same size and weight??? are all kids the same??? it happens like in the nature everyone is unique and even inside the belly they still developing different and is all normal, the ultrasound date is just to give you a base about what to expect and check if the baby is around of they use as a note of how the baby grows and how the weigh would be improving, so there is no reasons for you to worry about or suspect that your baby has down syndrome.

You should not worry for anything that does not happen yet. Worrying is the worst thing that should always be eleminated because it usually cause negative impact. As long as you know for yourself that you have check up regularly, you must not think of bad things. Everything will be all right if you think possitive. Pray and pray that nothing will happen of the things you think.

I don't think you have to worry because if it was something very bad the doctor would have told you and help you to find a solution to it. Or even if you are not sure, you can just go to any pharmacist around your area and explain to him or her, she or he may also help.
