Can I Request A Coed Baby Shower?
|
My husband and I moved to Colorado (where his family is) shortly after we got married. We've been here for 9 months and I haven't made many friends, between working and settling in. His aunt asked if she could throw me a baby shower. I'd love to do this, but besides my mom and sister who would fly in, I don't have many female guests. She said my husband has a LOT of female relatives, but I'm afraid I'd be uncomfortable. Would it be bad to request a co-ed shower, or to at least have him there with me?

Marie Saturday 6th of February 2010 12:56:56 PM Of course you can request a co-ed baby shower! The important thig to remember here is that this is YOUR babay shower, and it is done for YOU. So if you are more confortable having your husband there, it is entirely your choice.

Friday 14th of May 2010 11:11:53 AM I think it will be best you take a co-ed shower.
as you know human cannot actually be comfortable by being alone. so it always advisable you have friends around, so that you can be communicating, sharing ideas, helping each other.
As people normally say unsociable person always look like a fool. so dont live alone and finally end up by being like a fool.

Thursday 22nd of April 2010 02:55:49 AM Yes, it is very nice to have co-ed shower. Beside you and the baby will be benefited with this event. You can expect several gifts that you will no longer buy things as an expectant mom. Likewise, it will save you enough money for those things. Just enjoy and have fun, never think of negative things because it will affect your baby too.
