Stress Can Induce Or Delay Labor, Which Is It?
I'm 36 weeks pregnant and am going through a tough family situation. Some women have told that I should watch out because too much stress cute put me into premature labor. Another woman told me the I need to relax because stress can delay the onset of labor. The only thing they agree on is that I need to relax about the situation, at least until my son arrives. So can stress induce or delay labor?

Stress always is inducing adrenaline which most of the time is not good for the body, so yes, stress can induce premature labor. you are right about being more relaxed about this issue. everything will be perfect, you don't have anything to worry about it. I have never heard that can delay labor.

the stress can do both cases happens, depends which situation and how your body works over the stress pressure, some women get the body to contract and not relax if they suffer from stress and it can difficult the labor, others works like something that help the premature labor to happen when they are over stress, its like when you experienced a stressfull time and you get your period early so it happens likely with the pregnancy as well.

you really need to relex because too much stress can not only delay the onset of labor but can also effect the growth of your growing baby.Stress can cause delayed labor which can create problems for you in having normal delivery, and C-Section is the last option left with doctors in such case!

Hello. Severe stress of the pregnant woman is often related to early contractions in which case total rest is advised. Stress has less to do with delayed labour than other physical factors like a disfunctionality. If it is delayed labour it can always be induced. Your friends only tell you myths.

To my opinion i will say stress has nothing to do with labor. As we all know such situations are normally done do to the will of God. when God fix up your time of labor no one no one can make the days come faster or delays it.So God is the bet knower, either it will induce or delays it.

Probably yes, since you are not in the good situation or in bad mood, your labor activity maybe affected too. It is essential to be extra careful especially when you are pregnant and on that stage. I suggest you must stay cool and have presence of mind so for you to do not have difficulty on your labor.
