I Have Hypothyroidism, Which Doctor Should I See For Fertility Treatment?
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in my early 20's. Now I'm 34 and would like to start a family. I was originally treated by my family physician for the issue, but now I don't know if I should go back to him or see an OB for a consultation. Would an obstetrician or primary care physician be better for hypothyroidism infertility treatment?

hi there, and you mjust look after your obstetrician and explain your doubts, and you will make all tests and check out if you keep treating the hypothyroidism or if you should back to your physician to start the treatment back, but who cares of the plans of get pregnant is the obstetrician. hope all will end good to you. good lucky.

If he is still there, you go back to him for the hypothyroidism infertility treatment. since he was the one who did it at he first time, he will have a lot of experience about it.But in case you cannot find him, then is better you go to your current physician for the treatment,as you know before you become a physician you have to pass series of test before. so i believe he can also do it better.
