My Husband Had An Affair, She's Pregnant.

I just found out that my husband had an affair and the woman is pregnant. She wants him to financially support the baby, which I think he should. I am filing for a legal separation, is there anyway that my finances can be affected by this situation?

What does your husband say? Or is he letting you take all the decisions in his place? First of all, I think you should have a cold-blooded conversation with him-this could happen to any man. And be sure you are not the first woman to handle it. Just think about what your grandmother would do now.

hi there. and sorry to hear about what happened, but life goes on, I don't think your finances would suffer any difference and interferrence by the pregnancy, what is yours is yours what is up to your husband is his problems so as long as you guys intent to divorce your part in the finances will be untoucheable, the baby will be handle by his support what does not involve you and your money.

I will advice that you stop filing up for legal separation.In the first place, your children will surfer after you are gone.Because after the marriage of the husband, he wont have time for your children and if you take them along, it will go a long way to affect you financially because you cannot always be affording to feed them and be able to meet all their financial obligations.So i will advice you better stop.

No ,if you are legally married to him and living with him and if you show that you are not the major earner or he gives the financial support then nobody could stop your financial support from him after divorce but for that you have to show the affair of your husband with her.
