Induction For Father's Military Leave?
My husband is in the army and is stationed in Iraq. His CO says that he will most likely be granted time to come home for our daughter's birth. We want to optimize our time together, so can I pre-plan an induction with my doctor to coincide with my husband's military leave?

See you can but as you say that he is in milatary so never know when his leave could cancel but in positive way you should pre plan and confirm all the things before he comes so that everything could be done on time and without delayed for that you should pre concern to your docter .

hello there, you can always get to choose and book a c-section with your doctor as long as the doctor agree that are completly safety to the baby induct a birth. The best way is asking to your doctor the one you choose to watch you give birth what he thinks about and sure you should explain the reasons to him as well. happy pregnancy.

No that thing cannot happen as the doctor cannot sustain or delayed the baby from from being delivering at the appropriate time plan by God himself. The only thing you can do is to postpone the naming ceremony to time that your husband will come home. But going back to the doctor is useless.
