I Want To Get Pregnant, But I Don't Want To Stop Breastfeeding.
|
My son is 18 months old and is still breastfeeding. I think that this is really important, but I also want to start TTC again. I have yet to have a period. Is there anyway that I can stimulate ovulation without giving up the breastfeeding?

Tuesday 16th of March 2010 06:34:00 AM hello there, and I never heard that you need to stop breastfeed to get pregant otherwise you will not ovulate. so you can still breastfeeding your baby and keep trying to conceive at the same time, there has plenty of women that got to be pregnant after they have their babies and really iona short time that they have the 1st one so it still be possible you to get pregnant and breastfeed your son still. cheers.

Monday 5th of April 2010 07:51:22 PM If that is so, you have to choose what really your desire is. All of us need to select any life decision if we want to attain our goals. So I think, you let your son be bottle feed then be ready for pregnancy. There are also various milk that have good nutrients available in the market.

Wednesday 14th of April 2010 04:20:39 PM I was in your exact same position. I talked to a message therapist friend of mine and she told me about a pressure point (4 finger's widths above the inner ankle) that is connected to the uterus. I rubbed it for 1 minute a day for a couple weeks. I got my period back and was pregnant after 4 cycles. I'm currently tandeming my 3 year old and my just-turned 1 year old. :)
