Ttc--do I Count From The First Day Of My Period Or The Last?
I'm 24 and honestly have never given much thought to my menstrual cycle. I've never even really kept track of how many days my cycle is. Now that I am trying to conceive, I want to track my cycle and ovulation. Do I count from the first day of my period of from the day that it ends?

You should start counting from the first day of your last menstrual period.

you usually count from the first day of your period, if your cycle is regular, that is 28 days, ovulation takes place from the 10th day of the cycle, remember you count from the very first day of your period, to the 21st. but the best day to conceive is from the 12th to the 14th. during this time, you can easily conceive.

I think you have to cont from your first day of your period up to the day that it ends and then take note of the date that it ends so that, the following month you will be able to know when you will expect the next period. it normally comes when it is just left with three days to the date that it ends on the previous month. But i will advice you see your doctor for more education on that.

You should count from the first day of your period and when you do conceive you will be asked by your GP what date was the first day of your last period.
