Decorating The Nursery-are Classic Toys Safe?
We are planning our nursery theme. We don't want it to be gender specific because we have chosen not to find out if we are having a boy or a girl, plus it will be appropriate for our future children. My mother-in-law gave us a box full of vintage, classic wooden children's toys and we are thinking of basing the nursery theme on them. Our question is, are these toys safe for a baby or small child?

Great idea for making the nursery theme general. It's also a very good idea to make use of the vintage toys - the wooden ones. Toys nowadays are usually made of plastic and pieces that can be pulled out and are dangerous. The only issue with the vintage toys is that during the early years - 70's to 80's or even the 90's....toy manufacturers do not concern themselves with non-toxic paints. Well, as long as the baby can be monitored to avoid having to put into his/her mouth the toys, I guess its ok in general. Congratulations!

You must think of safety and neatness once decorating your nursery room. Of course, you basically know what toys are safe and unsafe. Remember nursery room should be colorful for the baby to able to see bright world ideas. Likewise, ensure to design it in an informative way. As per the old mothers baby should witness black and white decors that can enhance their analytical thinking.

according to docter wooden toys are better then plastic or rubber toys beacuse small baby are always in the habbit of everything and plastic toys are harmful to health but wooden toys are not harmful..still once baby are till growm then these toys are harmful in the sense of hit themself while from plasic toys kids cant harm themselve so harsh.
