We have decided that we are going to start trying to conceive in a couple of months. We want to get our finances worked out and start an investment portfolio first. We have all of our paperwork together and a rudimentary plan, but we would like the help of a financial advisor. How do we find a reputable financial advisor that will help us plan for our future with a family in mind?

I think you don’t need to hire a financial planner before trying to start to conceive. Actually there are several ideas you can research on the internet about financial literacy. There are various practical tips and pointers how to save money and utilize them well. In fact the cost that you will incur for a financial planner can be saved and be used for other relevant expenses. Come to think of it.

To get a reputable financial adviser is not something all that very difficult. In the first place i will urge you to see your personal doctor or those in charge of family planning for advise.
You may also need advice from religious people like the pastors or the imams.
besides that, you can also search on net and get books that will give you more advice on that,especially the books from click bank.com
