Cloth Diapers- How Do You Clean Them?
My husband and I have been discussing using cloth diapers for our baby. He would like to save the money by avoiding the cost of disposable diapers but he's a little squeamish about "keeping" the dirty diapers until they are washed. I know it isn't feasible to wash them one at a time. How do we care for and wash cloth diapers and how do we store them until it is time to wash them?

Hello future mommy and daddy, I think the cloth diapers are to be picked in the last case, first coz you probably will need to wash them everyday at least, otherwise it will be a mess, second it is not hygienic like the absorvent diapers, cloth diapers every pee that you baby will do it will be wet and looking for the baby comfort and what is more health I bet the save money that you guys would be saving choosing the cloth diapers will go in some dermatolical cream so in the end its not a big deal pick the cloth diapers. Cloth diapers are great to have them at home as an emergency like when the absorvent diapers run out and you can not go to buy them so you use the others as a spare thing. biut backing to your question you will probably need to wash them everyday suking them for a while on soap with water and washing at night that is how most of people do wash them. Good Lucky.

Cloth diapers are better for the baby than plastic but they require a lot of care. You should keep a diaper pail (any white enamel pail with a lid on it) near the toilet. In that pail I used to put a cap full of bleach and filled the pail about half full with water. If the diaper has something other than urine in it rinse it out in the toilet until everything is removed, wring it out and drop it into the pail. Urine diapers should also be rinsed and placed in the pail. Babies use a lot of diapers so plan on washing them every day. I don't know if they still have them but I used a diaper washing machine (a small machine that sat on the counter top) and emptied into the sink. You can empty them into the tub if you have something near an outlet that it could stand on. You may object to using bleach, in that case use whatever you feel is equal to bleach to keep the diapers from turning yellow. Using this method I never had any diaper odor in my home and the children grew up healthy. I have to admit that I did not cleaning the bulk but you get used to it after a while. I calculated the amount of diapers I washed in a weed and it came to about between 25 and 30 from one child. Good luck.

Usually, whether you use cloth or disposable diapers, both are practical for your baby. It really depends on your needs and how you perceived to take care of your baby. If you will use cloth diaper, I suggest you must use mild soap for washing them. There are brands especially design for washing them like Pigeon, you may check in the store. On the other hand, you can save money and effort too, by using disposable diapers.
