I Want To Do A Belly Cast, But I Have Sensitive Skin.
I really want to try belly casting. I have a friend that said she would paint a scene on it when it was done. My problem is, I have fairly sensitive skin, especially since I've been pregnant. If I do the belly casting will the plaster hurt my sensitive skin?

Before casting belly sterile & do only prefer medical grade casting material. This is a safe and tested material for topical use only! When using this material be sure and lubricate any area of your body that the casting material will come in contact with. If you have a allergic reaction, then with olive oil or good quality massage oil.

My advise is to avoid a belly cast, further since your skin is very sensitive it may cause irritations or allergy which is turn would affect the baby. Why you are so much interested in belly casting, instead of belly casting you can go for beautiful wall castings in your room if affordable or go for beautiful wall papers which are available at less cost and at the same time disposable.

You might want to try benedryl cream on your belly first and then put vasaline on top of that; it will make the cast come off easier, and protect your belly. Make sure you call your ob first, and make sure that it the cream. The benedryl may get into your bloodstream, and you want to make sure it won't hurt the baby.
