Is There Such A Things As Pregnancy Acne?
When I was a teenager, I had a tough time with acne on chin and cheeks. It went away when I was 19 and I haven't missed it at all. Now, I'm 10 weeks pregnant and it is coming back. Is this because of my pregnancy? Is there anything I can do about pregnancy acne?

The boost in hormones your body is producing can cause acne to reappear, which means it is likely to disappear when your hormones level out around your second trimester. There really isn't much you can do about it other than the normal remedies; eat right, drink plenty of water, keep your hands off your face, and keep your skin clean and moisturized. Be cautious of harsh chemicals that can cause your extra-sensitive skin to break out more. The best advice is always to fight it from the inside - which means eating lots of anti-oxidant rich foods.

You thought that you left nasty pimples and breakouts far behind in your teenage years. You’re an adult now, and therefore immune to experiences as acne. However, since you became pregnant, you can’t help but notice a new pimple appearing almost daily on your once crystal clear skin. Not only are you worried about these pimples, but also about the possibility of acne scars. And according to skin care therapist: Acne during pregnancy is hormonal, which is good news, because once the hormones are regulated, this usually means that the skin will normalize. In the mean time however, there are other ways to treating skin diseases such as acne, other than topically. Adjusting your diet will help tremendously. Foods that contain antioxidants(good guys) help fight off free radicals(bad guys) which causes diseases like acne. Foods like salmon, dark green veggies, olives, berries, strawberries, cantaloupe, and xtra virgin olive oil all contain powerful antioxidants. Not only will your skin begin to look better, but this kind of diet will also be beneficial for the baby.

Hello there dear, and the pregnancy acne is caused by the hormones changes, and there is not so much that you can do, you can not use any acne medications as long as most of them have some acids that are restricted forbidden to be used during the pregnancy coz some substacies can seriously affect your baby and make your baby biorn with physical deffects or even neurological problems as well, so you must handle the acne for a while and you can see with your doctor what should you do after give birth.
