Do I Have To Wear A Hospital Gown?
There are going to be a lot of people attending the birth of my baby. I'm happy about this, but I feel awkward about the sometimes revealing hospital gowns that they make you wear. Do I absolutely have to wear the gown or can I bring something of my own?

During the delivery, you definitely have to wear a gown! However, you can change into anything you want after wards providing there are no complications during the delivery and your doctor insists on keeping IV lines or urine catheters. These thing may make it some what difficult if not impossible to wear a gown or a robe.

hello dear, you can bring your own pajamas to your maternity, th gown is just needed to be dressed before the birth, during and a bit after, so as long as you give birth and can take your shower you can change and put your own pajamas. the gown is only there to help you during the hospital procedures.

You can refuse, I think. I didn't, to be honest, although you brought and wear your actual gowns (you took two or three just as back up, in case they got dirty. Birth is messy!) use the hospital gown for actual labor, then slipped into one of your own for comfort reasons. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you wore your own during labor though, hell, its just a gown
