I'm Not Sure Which Doctor Will Deliver Me.
The doctor's office that I go to has 3 OB's in it. They have patients see all of them at different visits. They want women to be comfortable with every doctor so that it doesn't matter who is on call when you go into labor. I like 2 of the doctors in my office, but I really don't like the third. There is something that I just don't feel comfortable about. Would it be horrible to request an induction when one of the doctors I like is on call?

No, it would not be horrible. I requested inductions for 3 of my 4 kids because I wanted to be sure my doctor delivered each of them. As long as you are comfortable with the risks of induction (they are fairly minimal), than you should not hesitate to request that you be induced on a day when a doctor you are comfortable with is on call. If this is your first child, you may be surprised to realize that you really see very little of the actual doctor that delivers you; in most cases, once labor really begins, women are not concerned about who delivers them...just that the baby is delivered. Your hospital experience will be much more affected by the nurses than the doctor.

Hello there, i personaly think you can open a request and let your preference about be attended by the doctors you like when your time arrives, first at all give birth is something very unique and we pregnant women have the right to choose who we trust more and the doctor that makes us be more comfortable, so you can bring your request to the manager office where you are doing your prenatal. happy pregnancy, cheers.

normally likes & dislikes are not from your mind.... the person you like is usually when you like him or her from bottom of your heart, & it might be same with the teacher , the nurses, the doctors. definitely the two doctors you are supposed to like both of them were very much friendly or shown interest in your condition they might encourage to talk about & your baby much more then the third one. and so do you feels much more comfortable with them as compare to third one. You can personally request both of them that you want one of them during your baby birth. they might be arrange their visit during your due date. I my self also requested my doctor that i only want her to be deliver my baby, she honors my request & she is there. so try to ask thm that is no matter except if the hospital policy is so strict but they definitely encourage your discussion.
