Are There Women's Only Birthing Classes?
|
I am single and expecting. I want to take birthing classes, but I don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of happy couples. This road has been hard enough with out the reminder that I'm doing this alone. Are there women's only birthing classes?

Tuesday 23rd of March 2010 05:36:35 AM Don't feel lonely just because you are a single, due to several reasons many couples are leading a single life, why are you worried a lot about it, visit exclusive ladies clubs (good one's) you can find accopany or you can find several cases like you, interact with them pass your time, but be careful, dont get carried away and get into bad habits, in that case it is better to be single, and give a good healthy child to your nation as well as for you.

Monday 29th of March 2010 01:33:21 AM Most places do have singles birthing classes available, your best bet would be to ask your doctor or the hospital you plan on giving birth at. It is important that you have a birthing partner; a family member, friend, or nursing student. I was single when I had my first child, and I took my mom with me to the birthing classes, I also "allowed" a nursing student to follow my pregnancy, birth, and postnatal period. The nursing student was an amazing addition, and in many ways more helpful and supportive than my family.
You can find a nursing student by asking the hospital or a local college that offers nursing degrees.
