Pregnancy Week 5- Is It Bloating Or Showing?
|
I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I've noticed that my tummy is already looking a little puffy already. I didn't think I would start showing for a couple of months. Am I just bloated or am I actually showing at pregnancy week 5?

Saturday 13th of March 2010 10:31:23 AM in my opinion i think you must be bloating, coz its too early to already show the differences on your tummy, for me my tummy just start show up after i get into the 5th month, but most of my friends that got pregnant as well start to show the differences on their tummy around the 3rd month. cheers

Tuesday 16th of March 2010 04:59:53 AM Whether you are bloated or showing at pregnancy week 5 is so good and good! It means your baby inside the womb is growing too. We pregnant mommies should be proud because it's the baby we are carrying and its a blessings. We must be grateful and give thanks. Have an possitive outlook too so that your baby can attain also the attitude show are showing during pregnancy. This is true. Try and observe when your baby is up to grow. I did it.

Monday 22nd of March 2010 03:01:19 AM While others can't yet detect your pregnancy, by pregnancy week 5 you may start feeling pregnant. If you have given birth previously you might notice your abdomen looks slightly larger than usual. This is largely the result of bloating. The uterus doesn't rise out of the pelvis until roughly 14 weeks pregnant but many women start experiencing bloating during early pregnancy. You may find your belly looks more "poofy" at the end of the day than early in the morning.
Pregnancy week 5 is a critical week for heart development in your baby. The heart begins to separate into different changers and starts pumping blood as early as five weeks of pregnancy. Some transvaginal ultrasounds may be able to pick up a heartbeat as early as 5 weeks pregnant, though this often occurs much later. Much like other organs in your baby's body the heart is formed from multiple layers of cells, in this case cells labeled the mesoderm. Other organs that will also develop from this layer include your baby's cartilage, muscles and bones.
