Pregnant After Miscarriage--waiting For The Bomb To Drop
With my first pregnancy I wanted to shout it from the rooftops that I was expecting. When I miscarried, it shattered me. We waited 6 months to try again and I got pregnant right away. I lost my first baby at 6 weeks, I'm already 11 weeks, but I just can't shake the feeling that the bomb is going to drop at any time. How do I get my joy back and get excited about being pregnant after miscarriage?

After losing your first baby at 6 weeks, anything after 12 weeks should be a positive thing. After your first 12 weeks your risk of miscarriage goes down dramatically. That is your first trimester. It has the highest risk of miscarriages. During your second trimester the baby has developed enough that it is stronger and has more of a fighting chance. Plus once you are in your second trimester, you've spent enough time with the unborn baby that you are experiencing a lot of firsts that you didn't with the first one. All which can put a smile on your face.

Dear sorry about what happened in your first pregnancy, but try think and stay positive dear, coz you are nearly to complete the 1st trimester of pregnancy and after that the risks of miscarriage drop so much, I think if I was you I would have got my joy back after i 6 weeks, hope it shows you a reason to start be happy and less stressed and anxious of what happened, and it is not coz you lost your first that it will back to happen, wish you a good lucky and a happy pregnancy.

the fear that you are having right now is expected and normal however you must not be taken by it otherwise it may lead to severe anxiety which in turn could greatly affect your psychological well being. to reduce the anxiety that you feel, be vigilant with your prenatal check ups. this ensures that your pregnancy is monitored. keep yourself relaxed, avoid stress and be optimistic about your pregnancy.
